Rules Of Play for NET Golf League

All holes not specifically mentioned below

  • Lost balls will be played from point of entry with a 2 stroke penalty.
  • Loose impediments can be moved in a hazard but you cannot move or break off living shrubbery to improve your swing or lie (2 stroke penalty).
  • In a sand trap, you may lift your ball to smooth the sand and place the ball as close to the original spot as possible with no penalty.
  • You can remove the ball from the sand trap under the unplayable lie rule with a 1 stroke penalty.

 

Lakeside Front

  • Hole #1 OB right of path
  • Hole #3 Play lateral hazard on both sides of fairway even if you can't find the ball.  Drop the ball at the point of entry into the tree line one club length with a 1 stroke penalty.
  • Hole #4 Play lateral hazard on both sides of fairway even if you can't find the ball.  Drop the ball at the point of entry into the tree line with a 1 stroke penalty.
  • Hole #6 Ball in hazard to the right off the tee can be played from the red tee ground with a 1 stroke penalty.  Ball lost in woods to the left off the tee can be played from the red tee ground with a 2 stroke penalty.
  • Hole #7 Ball in hazard to the right off the tee can be played from the red tee ground with a 1 stroke penalty.  Ball lost in woods to the left off the tee can be played from the red tee ground with a 2 stroke penalty.
  • Hole #8 Ball lost in hazard can be played from drop zone at the front tee box beside the path with a 1 stroke penalty.

 

Lakeside Back

  • Hole #13 If a player hits the ball in the hazard in front of the green he has the option to use the drop zone on top of the ridge near the cart path.  The drop zone may or may not be outlined as it had been in the past. The player may opt to play from the point of entry if he so desires.
  • Hole #14 If a player hits the ball in the hazard or losses the ball off the tee anywhere on the hole he may hit from the mat area to the right of the cart path. With the one stroke penalty, the player will be hitting his third shot.
  • Hole #15 The right side of the hole will be played as a lateral hazard even if you can't find the ball. Drop the ball at the point of entry into the tree line with a 1 stroke penalty.

 

Riverside Front

  • Hole #2 The right side of the hole will be played as a lateral hazard even if you can't find the ball.  Drop the ball at the point of entry into the tree line with a 1 stroke penalty.

 

Riverside Back

  • Hole #10 A drive lost anywhere off the tee can be played from the forward tee ground with a 1 stroke penalty.
  • Hole #11 A ball hit over the left fence or lost left of the fairway is considered out of bounds.  The player can hit a provisional ball with the stroke and distance rule (i.e. - hitting 3 from the tee), or if he doesn't hit a provisional he must hit from the point of entry with a 2 stroke penalty.
  • Hole #17 Any drive hit into the hazard may be hit from the drop zone along the side of the path with a 1 stroke penalty.
